Arc360 este un proiect de promovare a bisericilor de lemn din zona Banatului, fiind în acelaÈ™i timp È™i un demers de conÈ™tientizare a situaÈ›iei în care se află acestea. Cu ajutorul tehnologiei 360, proiectul îÈ™i propune o altfel de prezentare a acestora, făcând posibilă vizitarea virtuală a acestora.

Se doreÈ™te realizarea unui arc peste timp È™i spaÈ›iu, între edificiile arhitecturale È™i oameni. Greu accesibile, izolate, de multe ori încuiate, bisericile de lemn din zona Banatului, altădată loc viu È™i activ al comunităților ce le deservea, astăzi sunt abandonate, uitate sau ignorate.

Arc360 îÈ™i propune o reactivare a acestora, în mediul virtual, făcând posibilă vizitarea acestora cu ajutorul tehnologiei. Readuse în atenÈ›ia publică, proiectul rămâne strict unul de promovare È™i conÈ™tientizare, de accesibilizare a acestora pentru cei ce nu le mai pot vizita în realitate, È™i nu de înlocuire a vizitării fizice a acestora. Arc360 susÈ›ine restaurarea, reactivarea È™i reintroducerea bisericilor de lemn din Banat în viaÈ›a comunităților locale.
The main goal of our ARC360 project is to promote the wooden churches in the Banat area. The project intends to raise awareness to the dire state in which many of these churches are at this moment. Using modern 360 photography techniques, the project brings about a new, different type of presentation and offers the possibility of visiting the churches virtually.
The project brings into existence, through time and space, an arch between architecture and people. Hard to reach, isolated, and in many cases closed down, the wooden churches of Banat, once at the center of the community life, lie now abandoned, forgotten or ignored.
By bringing them back in the public eye, the project is aiming to give the possibility for access to those who cannot physically visit the churches, without making the physical visits obsolete. Although its main purpose remains the promotion and raising awareness of the wooden churches of Banat, ARC360 project supports all activities that encourage the restoration, revival and integration of these churches back into their communities’ life.
